The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas on Saturday launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, a surprise attack, in the occupied territories, saying the operation was a response to the regime’s violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds.
The Zionist regime responded by carrying out deadly strikes on the densely populated Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources said more than 13,000 houses and 10 medical centers have been destroyed in the Zionist regime’s air strikes.
The health ministry in Gaza announced on Tuesday night that the number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli onslaught on the besieged strip has reached 900, including 230 women and 260 children.
4,500 people have been also injured, the ministry added.
