1,200 Zionists killed since start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm: Israeli media

Tehran, IRNA – The death toll among Zionists since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm has reached 1,200, the regime’s media reported early on Wednesday.

According to the Palestinian Sama news agency, the Zionist regime’s radio announced that so far 1,200 Zionists have been killed and 2,900 others have been injured.

The Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also reported that the latest estimate by the occupying regime’s officials indicates that more than 200 Israelis are being held captive in Gaza.

The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas on Saturday launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, a surprise attack, in the occupied territories, saying the operation was a response to the regime’s violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East al-Quds.

The Zionist regime responded by carrying out deadly strikes on the densely populated Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources said more than 13,000 houses and 10 medical centers have been destroyed in the Zionist regime’s air strikes.

The health ministry in Gaza announced on Tuesday night that the number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli onslaught on the besieged strip has reached 900, including 230 women and 260 children.

4,500 people have been also injured, the ministry added.
