On the occasion of Children's Day in Iran and during his visit to Mofid Children's Hospital in Tehran on Monday, Einollahi said that prevention of children's diseases and their treatment is of special importance for Iranian Health Ministry.
He added that the plan of offering free healthcare to children under seven years old will help to better implementing the Youthful Population and Protection of the Family law because it is for the health of children .
Einollahi said that the number of hospital beds in Iran for children is estimated to be 20,000, of which 11,000 are training hospital beds, and 5,000 of which are for intensive care.
