Armita Geravand’s classmates speak about subway incident

Tehran, IRNA – Friends of Iranian 16-year-old girl Armita Geravand, who is now in coma, ruled out any clash or push in a subway train.

Fatemeh, a close friend and classmate of Armita, told IRNA in an interview that in less than a second after entering the subway train, Armitta suddenly fell backwards and her head hit the ground.

The classmate added when she lifted Armita, she found out her hand was stained by blood; then, she realized a wound on Armita’s head; so, she and another classmate at the scene pulled Armita out of the train.

Mahla, another classmate and friend of Armitta, also explained that on Sunday these three classmates entered the train one after another, but after a second Armita fell down and hit the ground with her back.

She also said, Armita looked somehow dead, but subway staff and a passenger helped resuscitate her, and then, she was sent to a hospital.
