Amirabdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with new ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Hungary Morteza Moradian while referring to the priorities of the new envoy’s mission in the European country.
The Iranian foreign minister also emphasized the significance of bilateral relations between the two countries, calling on the new envoy to make more efforts to expand the ties.
The strengthening of political relations, economic cooperation, cultural and academic exchanges, parliamentary collaborations, as well as providing effective services to Iranian expatriates were emphasized in the Wednesday meeting.
The new ambassador presented his work plan and priorities in order to develop Iran’s relations with Hungary.
Earlier, Moradian served as the deputy director general and director general at the Iranian foreign ministry, as well as ambassador of the Islamic Republic in North Korea and Denmark.
