Esmaili has held talks with his Kuwaiti and Pakistani counterparts as well as the director general of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), the IRNA reported on Tuesday.
In his meeting with the Secretary General of Kuwait’s National Council for Culture, Arts, and Literature (NCCAL) Mohammad Al-Jassar, Esmaili stressed promoting cultural ties between the two countries, adding that the two sides enjoy brotherly and historical relations.
Referring to the joint activities of Islamic countries, he said that the Palestine World Award is an opportunity to create a convergence in the Islamic countries.
Meanwhile, Al-Jassar offered readiness to participate in Iran's international cultural and artistic programs.
In a separate meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Syed Jamal Shah, Esmaili stressed the joint production of a movie about Muhammad Iqbal.
Jamal Shah said that Pakistan is interested in teaching Iranian arts such as calligraphy and visual arts in Pakistani schools.
In the meantime, in his meeting with the director general of ICESCO Salim Ben Mohamed Al-Malik, Esmaili underlined the importance of holding negotiations between Muslim officials on cultural concerns.
Mohamed Al-Malik, for his part, described Iran as an active country with a rich culture.
Iran can play an important role in developing ICESCO programs, he further noted.
ICESCO is a specialized organization concerned with fields of education, science, culture, and communication in Islamic countries to bolster relations among its 54 member states.
