Amirabdollahian, after transferring the chairmanship of the assembly to the Islamic Republic of Iran, during his speech, reminded the commitment of the Islamic Republic of Iran to multilateralism and the role of multilateral institutions such as ACD in creating understanding and partnership between countries to overcome global problems and create opportunities for growth.
He considered Asia to be the cradle of ancient civilizations and cultures and considered multilateral cooperation as a tool to actualize the great potential of this continent.
Amirabdollahian announced the slogan of Iran's presidency as "a more continuous and powerful Asia through new and emerging technologies" and invited the ministers of the member countries to participate in the next meeting of foreign ministers of the Assembly in 2024 in Tehran.

The Asia Cooperation Dialogue Forum was established in 2001 with the aim of promoting convergence between Asian countries, expanding the commercial and financial market, turning Asia into a capable partner for interaction with other parts of the world, and promoting the role of Asia to influence global equations with the membership of 12 countries.
