Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in New York at the head of a high-ranking political delegation on Monday to attend the 78th United Nations General Assembly.
Upon arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport, the president was welcomed by Amir Saeed Iravani, Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and a number of other Iranian diplomats.
This is the second time that Raisi has been to New York to address the UN General Assembly. He delivered his speech last night.
The president has held meetings with his counterparts in addition to the UN Secretary-General while in New York.
