According to a report published on Sunday, Al Sudani said in a meeting with Iranian journalists on the sidelines of the Arbaeen ceremonies in Iraq that Baghdad would stand with Iran, just as Iranians have stood with the Iraqi people during various crises.
He further highlighted that despite the economic and banking pressures exerted by the US government, Baghdad would continue to back Iranians against these sanctions.
