Amirabdollahian made the remarks late on Saturday in a post on his account on the X, formerly known as Twitter.
He offered his sympathy to the Moroccan nation, government and families of the victims over the devastating earthquake that hit parts of the country earlier this week.
While offering his condolences to Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita, the foreign minister reiterated that the Iranian Red Crescent Society is ready to help the North African country in its rescue operations the aftermath of the earthquake.
More than 2,000 people have been killed in Morocco after the deadly earthquake of the 6.8 magnitude hit the country’s High Atlas mountains on September 9.
