Tehran, IRNA – An exhibition featuring photographs of the splendor of Iranian Islamic architecture has recently been held in the northwestern Italian city of Livorno.

During the event, Mohammad Taqhi Amini, Iran's cultural attaché in Italy, commended the endeavors of the prominent artist and master Franco Zampetti in promoting the rich history and intricate artistry of Iranian Islamic architecture, IRNA reported.

“The beautiful and professional photographs that this artist has taken of Iran's cultural sites and historical and religious monuments are highly splendid and aim to introduce Iranian art,” he said.

Franco Zampetti, an esteemed Italian architect residing in Florence, took 40 superb photographs during his visit to Iran in 2019. These images were captured using the Zenith technique, specifically chosen to portray the grandeur of historical architectural masterpieces.
