Poursamadi died while filming a home entertainment series on September 2, 2023. The Funeral procession of Poursamadi will begin in front of Iran’s House of Cinema (Vesal St.) on Monday, September 4, with the participation of a group of artists, and students.
He will be laid to rest in Behesht-e Sakineh cemetery located near the city of Karaj.
Born in 1952 in the western city of Hamedan, Poursamadi left behind multiple notable works, including “Dayere Zangi”, “Sh! Girls Don’t Shout”, “Requiem of Snow,” etc.
Late Poursamadi was also an international photographer and artist whose works had a large audience all over the world.
