According to the China Foreign Ministry website, Bakhtiar in a meeting with Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Wu Xi said that the Iranian government has already facilitated tvisits by Chinese citizens.
He also promised to hold an Iran-China joint consular commission meeting in the near future.
The two officials also discussed ways to enhance consular relations and ensure the security and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of citizens from both countries.
