Amirabdollahian, who is on a visit to Lebanon, made the remarks in a meeting with the officials and leaders of different Palestinian groups in Beirut on Friday.
He reiterated Iran’s support for the Palestinian people and resistance, noting that today the position of the resistance in the region cannot be ignored and the resistance is seen by the West as a main player in Palestine and the region.
Today, the Zionist regime feels that it is losing on the battlefield, so it talks about the assassination of Palestinian resistance leaders, the foreign minister said.
The Palestinian leaders present in the meeting also talked about the indiscriminate enmity of the Zionist regime with all the Palestinian people and its efforts to destroy the Palestinian identity.
They stressed that the Palestinian people and resistance are stronger than ever and they will not step back one iota from their rights.
