During an announcement on Thursday, Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics succeeded in preventing a sabotage act in the defense industry of the Islamic Republic of Iran during a complicated plan.
Over the past months, a completely professional network by the cooperation of some infiltrating elements had planned to add faulty equipped parts into the supply chain of the production line of advanced missiles in the missile industries of the Iranian defense ministry, the statement said, adding that the sabotage network fell in a trap spread by the intelligence forces at the defense ministry and it was dismantled.
The intelligence force added that the network was led by the Israeli regime's Mossad who aimed to sell the equipment pieces to turn the produced rockets into an explosive device to damage industrial lines and hurt employees who are working there.
Despite the very complicated plot designed by the Zionist foe, this attempt of the enemy was under intelligence and operational monitoring from the very beginning and was completely neutralized after arresting its agents, the statement underlined.
