Upon arrival in Moscow, General Heydari was welcomed by Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali and senior officials of the Ground Forces of the Russian Federation, IRNA reported on Sunday.
General Heydari is visiting Moscow at the invitation of Commander-in-Chief of the Land Forces of Russia General Oleg Salyukov.
During his visit, he will hold talks with his Russian counterpart on various issues and visit some technological and training centers in the country.
He also plans to meet with some officials at Russia’s Armed Forces and Ministry of Defense.
