Mahdi Chamran re-elected as chairman of City Council of Tehran

As the chairman of the City Council of Tehran, Chamran won 21 votes, according to a Tuesday report by the IRNA.

The members have also picked Parviz Sarvari as the vice chairman of the Council.

Soudeh Najafi and Jafar Sharbiani were elected as the secretaries of the presiding board of the council.
