Moghimi made the remarks in a meeting with the President of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University of Iraq Abdul Muhsin Naji Al-Muhaisen at the office of the president of the University of Tehran on Sunday.
The Iranian academic also referred to the establishment of a new Persian language education center near the Iraqi border city of Basra in a bid to provide the Iraqi people with easy access to Persian language education.
The University of Tehran is prepared to dispatch Persian language teachers and instructors to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University of Iraq with the aim of expanding Persian language education if the Iraqi academic center is keen on allocating space for the establishment of a Persian language teaching center, he added.
Naji Al-Muhaisen, for his part, expressed the desire to help develop scientific cooperation between the two universities and invited Moghimi to visit Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University of Iraq.
