IRGC Navy receives Qadir, Fath-360 missiles

Tehran, IRNA – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has received the Qadir cruise missile and the Fath-360 ballistic missile equipped with artificial intelligence (AI).

The missiles were unveiled and added to the IRGC Navy during military exercises in the Persian Gulf island of Abu Musa on Wednesday morning.

Local authorities, as well as top commanders and officials, including IRGC Chief Commander Major General Hossein Salami and IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, were present during the drills.

“We always strive for the security and peace of the country,” General Salami said during the exercises.

He added that the Iranian nation gives decisive responses to all threats, complex seditions, and enmities.

Rear Admiral Tangsiri also said that the Persian Gulf belongs to all regional countries, vowing that his forces will spare no efforts to protect the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"The Persian Gulf islands are a sparkling jewel that will shine forever on the water and soil of our Islamic homeland," he said.

The IRGC Navy commander added, "The security of the Persian Gulf region is the common interest of the Persian Gulf countries. We as Persian Gulf countries have common interests."

"We are brothers and neighbors. Security is in the interest of all of us here. If the Persian Gulf, which is full of rich energy resources, is safe, all of us and even the whole world will benefit from the fruits of this security."
