According to Russia-based news sources, the Ministry announced on Tuesday that in line with a Russian government order, citizens of European countries, Iran, Japan, Turkey, China, North Korea, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore would be able to acquire an electronic visa from Russia.
It also declared that e-visas are issued via the internet for tourist trips, guest visits or business travels as well as for visitors participating in scientific, cultural, sports or other events.
