In a tweet posted in Farsi on its official Twitter account on Sunday, the Japanese embassy hailed the late Mr. Ashkboos for dubbing Captain Tsubasa, the main character of Japanese famous manga cartoon series.
Manga series was so popular among Iranian children and young adults in 1990s.
