Shahriar Heidari, a board member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told IRNA correspondent on Saturday that the MKO terrorists were expelled from the Iraqi soil for their terrorist record.
Albania then granted them refuge on conditions, but they violated these conditions so the Albanian police was finally made to treat them forcefully and beat them, the lawmaker said.
Noting that the MKO leaders are going to recover from their disgrace in Albania, Heidari said that the Italian parliament showed that their alleged support for human rights is nothing more than a lie.
The Iranian legislator said that the Italian Parliament’s support for terrorist elements would hamper Iran’s constructive relations with the country, calling on Rome to reconsider its policies towards MKO terrorists.
