Iran, Uganda sharing of capacities will meet both sides’ needs: Raisi

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has said that if businessmen and economic operators from Iran and Uganda identify mutual capacities, the exchange of these capabilities can meet many requirements of both sides.

The Iranian president addressed a meeting of tradesmen of both countries in Uganda on Wednesday night, noting that as a result of consultations between officials of both nations, administrative apparatus in both countries are tasked with removing obstacles in the way of developing cooperation.

Emphasizing on the need for holding meetings to identify the obstacles in the way of improving trade ties, he added that the current level of economic and trade ties between Uganda and Iran is not acceptable for both countries, and that the scale of mutual trade can be amplified 10 times.

He urged economic operators to make all-out efforts to resolve all problems in the way of increasing trade exchanges.
