“The dignified and artist lady of the cinema and theater, Ms. Farima Farjami, found eternal peace after enduring a long and difficult period of illness,” the Actors Association of Iran’s House of Cinema announced in a message.
It also offered condolences over the demise of the “invaluable actress” to her family and colleagues.
Farjami suffered a stroke about two months ago, and after a partial recovery, she continued her treatment at home under the supervision of a doctor. However, she suffered another stroke and went into a coma a few days before her demise.
“The Red Line” and “The Lead” by Masoud Kimiai, “The Tenants” by Dariush Mehrjui, “Mother” by Ali Hatami, “The Last Act” by Varuzh Karim-Masihi and “Narges” by Rakhshan Banietemad were among her notable films and series.
