According to a Saturday report by Arab 48, the settlers protested for the 25th consecutive week and chanted slogans against Netanyahu’s cabinet and his judicial reform package.
The protests took place in Tel Aviv, Kfar Saba, Be’er Sheva, Netanya, Herzliya, Haifa, and Rehovot. The Zionist regime’s police closed off many streets in those areas.
The ongoing protests began more than five months ago when Netanyahu announced his decision to push the judiciary overhaul plan through the regime’s parliament.
Back in March, Netanyahu announced a “pause” on pushing his plan, which is aimed at curtailing the authority of the Supreme Court and giving politicians greater powers over the selection of judges.
However, Netanyahu vowed on Sunday to resume his plan and “begin the practical measures”.
Observers say the protests has turned into an opportunity for settlers and residents of the occupied territories to voice their general anger and dissatisfaction against the Israeli regime.
