A senior Pakistani military official, asked not to be named, told an IRNA in Islamabad that Pakistan Chief of Army Staff will make an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the coming days (this month).
This reliable source added that that security developments in the region, strengthening bilateral cooperation in the security, border and military sectors are on the agenda of General Syed Asim Munir's talks with high-ranking Iranian officials.
He emphasized that Pakistan enjoys strong diplomatic, political and military relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and both countries have a serious determination to address issues between them and secure common interests.
