Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has expressed appreciation to his counterparts in three Latin American states of Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba for hospitality they extended to him during a tour of the three countries last week.
Latin America is a pole of inspiring global movements o seek independence and justice, Raisi said in a social media post late on Tuesday.
The president went on to say that people in the Latin American region will play a leading role in the future in efforts to overcome imperialism.
Raisi ended his five-day tour of the three Latin American countries on June 16.
