Iran’s sabre team runner-up in Asia's top fencing games

The national Iranian sabre team featured Ali Pakdaman, Mohammad Fotouhi, Mohammad Rahbari and Farzad Baher-Arsbaran, IRNA reported on Monday.

The team defeated Japan’s national team in the semi-final but lost to South Korea in the final to finish second at the tournament.

Earlier, Iranian saber fencers Pakadaman and Rahbari had won a gold and a bronze medal, respectively, in the games.
