Sadrkhanlou made the remarks in an exclusive interview with IRNA elaborating on the outcomes of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s recent visit to Venezuela.
Referring to Iran’s exclusive exhibition on technology achievements which was held in Caracas, Venezuela last year, Sadrkhanlou said that based on the policies adopted in Pardis Technology Park to develop its market in Latin American states, it had an active participation in the event.
He said that Pardis Technology Park tried to play its role in this international interaction as one of the key elements in Iran’s technology ecosystem.
He added that the event was lauded by President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro and a number of the Venezuelan cabinet ministers.
These interactions were followed up by Pardis Technology Park companies and brought about good results some of which were finalized during the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi recent visit to Venezuela, he noted.
President Raisi visited Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba upon the official invitation of their presidents on June 12-16.
Some of the projects which were accomplished during president tour are as follow:
Pardis Technology Park companies signed a contract for exporting 20 medical equipment to Venezuela, Sadrkhalou said.
The items included hemodialysis machines and all necessary equipment in a hemodialysis clinic like suction device, autoclave, monitor and hospital bed, he added.
He noted that Pardis Technology Park also received a new order for 120 more hemodialysis machines and other related equipment.
He pointed to agriculture and animal husbandry as other areas of cooperation with Venezuela, saying that Iran has experienced a significant growth in probiotic supplements for livestock.
We have made good agreements with Venezuelan private sector and livestock and poultry farms on the sidelines of the president’s visit and pilot phase started, he stressed.
It means that the products will be used as a pilot in Venezuelan livestock and poultry farms for some months and then the process of receiving permissions for exports will start, he said.
Pardis Technology Park has made good agreement with Venezuela in oil, gas and petrochemical field, he stated.
The two sides will sign collective agreement contact and Pardis Technology Park will be the main contractor, he said.
One of the achievements of the president’s recent tour to Venezuela was the primary agreement to sign a collective contract with a line of credit worth tens of millions of dollar, he noted.
He went on to say that two contracts worth one million dollar for exporting a part of Pardis Technology Park’s products were finalized during the recent visit to Venezuela.
