The Tuesday report said the cooperation agreements had been signed on Monday local time in Venezuela amid President Ebrahim Raisi's visit to the South American country.
Oil-related cooperation between Iran and Venezuela has increased since the Raisi administration took office in mid-2021.
Last year, the two sides signed an initial contract to restart refineries in Venezuela through Iran’s technical knowledge and equipment.
Together, Iran and Venezuela possess about 40% of the world’s oil reserves, but both countries’ oil sectors have been targeted by unilateral US sanctions.
Kicking off his Latin American tour, Raisi arrived at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Caracas on Monday at the formal invitation of his Venezuelan counterpart.
Upon arrival, he was welcomed by Venezuela’s Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto, and other top officials of the country.
The president will also visit Nicaragua and Cuba with the aim of boosting relations with countries in Latin America.
