-- Leader: Deal possible if Iran’s nuclear industry remains intact
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said a deal with the West is possible if Iran’s nuclear infrastructure remained intact amid a stalemate in talks over the revival of a 2015 nuclear pact.
The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with a group of nuclear experts and officials in Tehran on Sunday
“You may want to reach agreements in some fields. Nothing is wrong with [reaching] agreements, but the infrastructure must remain intact. They must not be harmed. They are the fruit of others’ endeavors,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.
-- Ambassador: Opportunity created for Iran-Russia petrochemical cooperation
Iran’s ambassador to Russia on Sunday said a favorable opportunity has been created for Tehran-Moscow cooperation in the petrochemical sector.
Talking to Shana, Kazem Jalali pointed to the increase in the Iran-Russia trade volume in the past year, and said, “Iran’s exports to Russia have been diversified as export-bound products were earlier limited to agricultural commodities and horticultural crops, while their cooperation and trade transactions have now expanded, particularly in the petrochemical and technological sectors.”
-- Iran to build new nuclear plants: AEOI chief
Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami has said that the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant has been constructed with the cooperation of Russia, adding that new plants will be built in the future.
Eslami noted that AEOI is aiming to show the position and impacts of the nuclear energy in people’s lives.

-- Romanian Festival to Screen ‘World War III’
Iranian feature ‘World War III’ has made it to the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) in Romania. The ‘World War III’ is taking part in the No Limit category of the 22nd edition of the TIFF.
Directed by Houman Seyyedi, the film tells the story of Shakib who has lost his wife and child in an earthquake. He works in a place where a movie on the World War is being filmed, and when one of the actors collapses, Shakib has been chosen as his stand-in.
-- Qatar, Iran to Expand Cooperation in Employment Sector
Iran’s Minister of Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare Seyed Solat Mortazavi in a meeting with his Qatari counterpart Ali bin Samikh Al Marri in Geneva has stressed the need to expand cooperation in the fields of labor, entrepreneurship and sharing skill-training experiences.
Iranian and Qatari labor ministers emphasized broadening bilateral cooperation in the field of employment and job creation.
-- IME Weekly Trade Surges $480 Million
The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday reported that over 3,021,946 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than 487 million were traded on its exporting and physical markets in the last week.
Te IME’s report said that over 2,723,436 tonnes of metal and mineral commodities, including 1,278,329 tonnes of cement, 1,093,000 tonnes of iron ore, 238,886 tonnes of steel, 101,600 tonnes of sponge iron, 6,525 tonnes of aluminum, 5,100 tonnes of copper, 1,850 tonnes of coke, 1,040 tonnes of zinc and 190 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate with total value of $351 million were traded on its markets in the last week.

-- Iran, India agree on forming joint agricultural co-op committee
Agricultural officials of Iran and India have agreed to form a joint committee for agricultural cooperation between the two countries within the next three months, Mehr News Agency reported on Saturday. As reported, the agreement was reached in a meeting between Iran's Deputy Agriculture Minister Mohammad Mehdi Borumandi and Secretary of India's Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ministry Manoj Ahuja in New Delhi.
Borumandi, who has traveled to New Delhi to hold talks on the agricultural cooperation between Iran and India, met with his Indian counterpart to review the latest status of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture.
-- Ecbatana prepares to surmount obstacles in path of UNESCO registration
Hamedan authorities have made an alternative road to replace the one passing through the legal boundaries of Ecbatana, which has been nominated for UNESCO status. The road, which is one of the problems in the path of possible registration of the prehistorical site in the UNESCO World Heritage list, will be eliminated in the next ten days, CHTN said on Sunday.
Moreover, the authorities plan to relocate a nearby steel marketplace, which is labeled as another barrier based on UNESCO criteria.
-- Tehran to host exhibition on innovation for prosperity
The first national exhibition titled “Innovation for Prosperity” will be held in Tehran, aiming to take advantage of innovative ideas to develop underprivileged areas.
The exhibition will be held from June 13-15 in order to introduce the capacities of knowledge-based and innovative companies for creating job opportunities in underdeveloped regions.
