- Iran-Brazil $10b trade achievable: Ambassador

Iran and Brazil can increase their bilateral annual trade to $10 billion, said Iranian Ambassador in Brasilia Hossein Qaribi on Tuesday. He pointed to the opening of an Iranian business center in Brazil as one of the best economic opportunities for Iranian traders in the Brazilian market and added that one of the main tasks of the center is to study the Brazilian market, and in the second step, to pave the ground for the presence of Iranians in Brazilian exhibitions, IRNA reported.

- Iran unveils homegrown hypersonic missile

Iran unveiled a homegrown hypersonic missile capable of breaching and destroying all anti-missile shields. The Fattah missile, manufactured by the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has a range of 1,400 kilometers and is able to reach Mach 15 – which is 15 times the speed of sound. The precision-guided missile also features excellent maneuverability and stealth ability to pass through radar systems.

- No limits to Iran’s defense power

In a display of its continued strength in defense, the Islamic Republic of Iran yesterday unveiled its latest military achievement – a hypersonic missile called “Fattah”. After days of media speculations, Iran formally unveiled its first domestically built hypersonic missile in a ceremony attended by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and a number of high-ranking military officials, including IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.

- IRGC navy disputes U.S. claims on ‘harassment’ of merchant ship

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy on Monday refuted Western reports that a commercial ship was “harassed” by its boats in the Strait of Hormuz as the elite force responded to a distress signal and went to its rescue. The statement was made by Brigadier General Abbas Gholamshahi, commander of the IRGC Navy’s First Zone, after the U.S. navy claimed that its sailors and the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom came to the aid of a ship in the Strait of Hormuz after the so-called “harassment” of the Iranian force’s fast-attack boats.

- Participation in SCO, BRICS shows that isolating Iran has failed: FM

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian says the Islamic Republic’s active participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the BRICS group of nations demonstrates that the policy of isolating Iran has failed. Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in an interview with Press TV after holding talks with his counterparts from Brazil, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, the Comoros, and Gabon on the sidelines of his two-day visit to Cape Town, South Africa, where he attended a foreign ministerial meeting of BRICS.

- U.S. Sanctions Iran, China, Hong Kong

The United States on Tuesday imposed sanctions on over a dozen people and organizations in Iran, China and Hong Kong, including Iran’s defense attaché in Beijing. The U.S. Treasury Department statement said the network conducted transactions and enabled the procurement of sensitive and critical parts and technology for key actors in Iran’s ballistic missile development, including Iran’s defense ministry and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL) agency, which is under U.S. sanctions.

- Fattah: Iran’s First Hypersonic Missile Unveiled

Iran on Tuesday unveiled its first-ever hypersonic missile, Fattah, which it said can penetrate missile defense systems and will give it a military edge. President Ebrahim Raisi and senior commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) attended an unveiling ceremony here, with the domestically made black missile visible. The missile can move at a speed of up to Mach 15 (5,145 meters per second), has a range of 1,400km and features a moveable secondary nozzle and employs solid propellants that allow for high maneuverability.

- Ministry: U.S. Complicit in Daily Crimes of Zionists

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Tuesday condemned the fatal shooting of a Palestinian toddler in the occupied West Bank, saying the United States is also complicit in the daily crimes of Zionists due to its constant support for the occupying regime. Kanaani made the remarks in a post on his Twitter account, a day after two-and-a-half-year-old Mohammad Haytham Tamimi succumbed to the critical wounds he received a few days earlier from shots by Zionist soldiers.
