“After years, we will convene large-scale and important trade negotiations between Iranian and Brazilian businesses,” said Fakhreddin Amerian on Tuesday.
Amerian said that two Iranian banks will "almost certainly" open representative offices in Brazil to help boost trade ties between the two countries.
Referring to Iran’s plans for launching a trade center in the Latin American country, the businessman said that Brazil also intends to establish safe financial and banking relations with Iran to help bilateral trade.
He added that he and his colleagues at Iran-Brazil Joint Chamber of Commerce are making every effort to remove the obstacles affecting logistics in trade between the two countries.
