Raisi made the remarks in the meeting of Iranian ambassadors and heads of Iran's missions abroad in Tehran on Wednesday.
He called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to think of mechanisms that could attract investment from Iranians living abroad.
The president also underlined that pursuing the implementation of agreements and MoUs between Iran and other countries, as well as holding meetings of the joint economic commission with other states should be prioritized by the Ministry.
Raisi, however, ruled out claims that other countries are reluctant to cooperate with Iran because the country is under sanctions.
Some used to speculate that the destiny of countries in the international arena is determined by certain states, he said, adding that those advocating the claim set out their foreign policies while always taking those states into consideration.
But we believe that the capacity and requirement of all countries should be taken into consideration when it comes to establishing mutual ties, said the president.
The Islamic Republic cooperates with all countries that deal with Iran in good faith, he stated.
Raisi said Iran will adopt the policy of “resistance” if a country shows enmity toward the Iranian nation.
