Heydari issued the warning on Sunday during a visit to Sistan-Blouchestan province where he toured the border region between Iran and Afghanistan.
He said during the visit that the border between Iran and Afghanistan are completely under the control of Iran's Army Ground Forces, adding that calm has returned to the area following incidents that happened between Iranian and Afghan border forces a day earlier.
The commander added that the presence of senior military officials at the border does not mean any risks have been posed to the security of the country.
Two Iranian border guards were martyred in clashes with Taliban forces at the joint border with Afghanistan on Saturday.
