Latifi made the remarks on Monday before a planned visit by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to Indonesia.
He said that some 1,818,558 metric tons (mt) of goods worth $965,152,626 had been exchanged between Iran and Indonesia in the year to late March.
He added some 1,725,340 mt of goods worth $846,539,655 were exported from Iran to Indonesia and 93,219 mt of goods worth $118,622,971 were imported to Iran from Indonesia ;in the calendar year 10401.
Regarding Iran's exports to Indonesia, he said that steel and iron products had accounted for more than 95% of Iran's exports to Indonesia over the year to late March were, adding that the remaining 5% of the shipments were dates, raisins, spices, saffron, marble, petrochemical and refinery products, chemicals, etc.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will head a high-ranking delegation on his official visit to Indonesia later on Monday.
