Cell No.14 covers memories of Ayatollah Khamenei during his struggles with the Pahlavi regime before the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran.
The audiobook was unveiled in a ceremony attended by a number of researchers and cultural figures.
Speaking during the ceremony, Dr. Foad Izadi, a professor at the World Studies Faculty of the University of Tehran, said that many in the United States are highly interested in this book.
“We have to try to get this book and other such products to them,” he said.
Noting that the culture minister of Venezuela has described this book as an “atomic book”, Izadi said that this description shows that such a book with such content is able to cause great transformation.
Also speaking in the ceremony, Dr. Saied Reza Ameli, another professor at the University of Tehran, said that Cell No.14, on the one hand, depicts a person who belongs to the family of science and knowledge, and on the other hand, he belongs to a family that has always lived in the pursuit of reviving divine high values.
The prisoner of cell 14 is a cultured person who was freed from the prison of the soul and has a spirit of freedom, Ameli said, adding that the prisoner in cell 14 is none other than Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei who has fought against colonialism and arrogance for more than half a century and is still fighting to preserve the independence of Islamic countries and the oppressed society of the World.
“His family, including his parents and grandfathers, were people who fought against oppression and persevered to get justice and eliminate oppression from the society. He is a child of Najaf, Mashhad, Tabriz, and most importantly, he is a child of the Islamic Revolution, who devoted his whole being to changing the course of history, and was a person of jihad and self-sacrifice, not only in cell 14, but in all steps of life.”
For more than 40 years, with his tortured body and severe disability, he left a sigh of relief to the hearts of the enemies of humanity and religion, Ameli said.
The subject of the book Cell 14 is a great man with pronounced faith, which is a symbol of wisdom, faith, patience and continuing to work until victory, he added.
“To all those who are looking for an effective model for reviving divine values and decolonizing the mind and action and fighting against oppression and injustice and ethnocentrism and racism, I recommend reading cell 14 and following role-playing in action.”
