Spanish, Portuguese renditions of Supreme Leader’s memoir unveiled

Tehran, IRNA – Spanish and Portuguese renditions of “Cell Number 14,” a book containing memoirs of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei during his struggles in the pre-Revolution era in Iran, have been unveiled at the Tehran International Book Fair.

At the unveiling ceremony on Tuesday, several dignitaries, including Venezuelan Ambassador to Iran José Rafael Silva Aponte and the Bolivian envoy Romina Guadalupe Perez Ramos, highlighted the significance of the book’s message of resistance.

A statement from Ernesto Villegas, the Venezuelan minister of culture, was also read out during the event.

Villegas hailed Cell Number 14 for carrying the message of resistance, adding that the book could serve as a valuable guide for countries seeking independence and freedom, according to the statement.

Cell Number 14 features memoirs of Ayatollah Khamenei during his struggle against the US-backed Pahlavi regime in Iran.
