Former Knesset Member Yehuda Glick along with dozens of extremist settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday, Palestinian sources reported.
While enjoying the support of the Zionist police, the raid was carried out from the entrance of the “Dung Gate”, which is also known as “Mughrabi Gate”.
The Israeli police also imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinians into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and seized their ID cards as they tried to cross the entrances of the mosque.
The Palestinians issued calls to attend the Al-Aqsa Mosque and confront the Zionist regime's plots and machinations.
Earlier on Monday, the Zionist forces conducted raids on various areas of the occupied West Bank and arrested some 20 Palestinians.
