Bazrpash who heads the intergovernmental commission between Iran and Syria on the Iranian side, said marine economy is one of the main issues to be discussed during his two-day trip to the Arab country.
Noting that railway transportation is another issue to be reviewed during his stay in Damascus, the minister said that there was a railroad between Iran, Iraq and Syria in the past but long years of war in Syria has damaged the railway in the country which needs to be repaired.
Bazrpash added that he will also discuss the reduction of tariffs in trade between Iran and Syria.
Underlining the significance of banking exchanges, he said that without banking exchanges no trade facilitation will happen.
The minister said that the Central bank of Iran has envisaged good measures and the two sides will hold talks on establishment of such banking exchanges in this trip.
