Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has congratulated his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel on his re-election as the president of Cuba for his second term.
In a written message issued on Thursday, President Raisi expressed hope that bilateral ties between Cuba and Iran could further improve during Diaz-Canel's second term in office.
On Wednesday, Cuba's National Assembly endorsed President Diaz-Canel for a new five-year term.
