Iranian, Italian universities to exchange professors & students

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) and the Italy’s University of Padua have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to continue exchanging professors and students.

To develop international scientific cooperation and to strengthen training courses, the two universities inked an MOU to exchange faculty members and students, IRNA reported.

ATU and the University of Padua have been closely cooperating since December 2017 by signing a memorandum of understanding and exchange professor and student agreements.

After five years and with the expiry of the MOU, the authorities of the two universities reviewed the records of the cooperation, called for the extension of the MoU and existing contracts, and extended the cooperation documents for another five years.

Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) is an Iranian public university, specializing in the areas of humanities and social sciences.

The University of Padua is an Italian university located in the city of Padua, region of Veneto, northern Italy. It is one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious seats of learning. As a multi-disciplinary institute of higher education, the University aims to provide its students with professional training and a solid cultural background.
