Speaking to reporters at his press briefing in Tehran on Tuesday, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance Ehsan Khandouzi said the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran is after finalizing a road map for relations with Saudi Arabia.
At the first step, the road map pursues revival of economic relations to one-billion-dollar worth, the minister underlined, expressing hope that the two would reach the goal as they are determined to resume economic ties.
As the minister noted, he is to make a visit to Saudi Arabia within the next few weeks.
On March 10, China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia issued a joint statement in Beijing announcing that Tehran and Riyadh would resume their diplomatic relations after seven years of tension.
