With the five gold medals grabbed in the Kazakhstan tournament, the Iranian Greco-Roman national team won the Asian championship title.
The second day of the Asian championships was held in Kazakhstan and Mehdi Bali won the gold medal after defeating his Kyrgyz opponent 7-4 in the 97 kg weight category.
Moreover, Sajad Imentalab and Alireza Mehmadi in the weight categories of 72 kg and 82 kg received silver and bronze medals respectively.
Earlier on Sunday, Pooya Dadmarz won the first gold medal for Iran with a 3-1 victory over his Indian rival in the 55-weight category of the sporting event.
Also, in the weight category of 63 kg, Iman Mohammadi from Iran defeated his Uzbekistan opponent 9-0 and gained the second gold medal for the Islamic Republic.
Amin Kavianejad received a silver medal after failing to compete in the final of 77 kg of injuries he had suffered in the previous matches.
Nasser Alizadeh in 87 kg bagged the third gold medal for Iran after defeating his Kazakhstan opponent 8-0 in the final.
And also, Amin Mirzazadeh beat a Chinese wrestler 2-0 in the final of 130 kg to win the fourth gold medal for Iran.
The Greco-Roman wrestling contest of the Asian Wrestling Championship was held in Kazakhstan.
