The statement comes amid news reports about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's preparing for a fresh attack on the besieged Gaza Strip in the near future.
The Palestinian National Authority stressed that Palestine reserves the right to defend itself in the case of such attack.
The Israeli regime's prime minister believes that military aggression against Gaza would secure his political survival as it could stop or weaken the opposition pressures against him, the statement said.
It also called on the international community to prevent the Zionist crimes against the innocent people of Gaza and the assassination of the Palestinian leaders.
Noting that any support for the apartheid regime of Israel is not accepted, the statement said that no country should claim that this regime “is entitled to defend itself” while it is an aggressive, occupying and criminal regime.
