"Today more than ever before, establishment of a Unified Islamic Front against that regime and to support Palestinians in needed," President Raisi said in a phone talk with his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Sunday.
President Raisi initially felicitated the fasting month of Ramadan to the Algerian president and nation, and said, "Iran and Algeria have close, and even shared stances on the regional and international issues, especially the Palestinian issue, and the denied rights of the oppressed people of Palestine."
Referring to the intensified criminal acts of the usurper Zionist regime against the Palestinian people, President Raisi added, "Today more than ever before the need to establish a United Islamic Front is felt in support for the Palestinian nation."
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian voiced his satisfaction about the expanding relations between the two major Islamic countries, expressing hope that Tehran-Algiers comprehensive cooperation, especially in the economic and commercial field will expand day after day.
President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for his part, expressed hope that by relying on Islamic countries' cooperation they will manage to liberate the Palestinian nation from the oppressor reign of the Zionists.
The Algerian president congratulated the Ramadan month to the Iranian president and nation, and reiterated that the oppressed Palestinian nation in this Ramadan month, which is the month of piety and worshipping, is suffering from the brutalities of the Zionists.
The two presidents in their phone talk also emphasized on the need to take practical steps aimed at full implementation of mutual cooperation roadmap.
