Reza Ameri appointed Iran's ambassador to UAE

Tehran, IRNA – After 8 years of having no ambassador to UAE, Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced Reza Ameri as Islamic Republic of Iran's new ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Ameri's former position in the Foreign Ministry was the director general of Iranian expatriates office.

His diplomatic posts before that include ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Algeria, Sudan and Eritrea.

Ameri is the Islamic Republic of Iran's first ambassador to the UAE after an eight-year diplomatic hiatus.
