Kanaani said on Friday that it is surprising and regrettable that the international community has not shown an expected and deterrent reaction to the constant military aggressions of the Zionist regime on Syria, including civilian airports and even residential areas; so, the regime has been promoted to continue violating territorial integrity and sovereignty of a member state of the United Nations and reiterate committing crimes against the Syrian citizens and military personnel.
The spokesman also described such aggressive moves as apparent violation of international regulations as well as a psychological projection to divert public opinion of internal rifts and crises of the regime, and that the Zionists are angry with the domestic consolidation and foreign policy openings of Syria.
He urged international organizations especially the UN Security Council to act against the aggressive measures by the Zionist regime as soon as possible.
The Zionist regime’s fighter jets bombed different targets in Damascus early morning. The Zionists also pounded some positions on Thursday.
The Syrian air defense succeeded in intercepting and shooting down some rockets. The Friday bombing is the fifth since the devastating earthquake in Syria on February 6.
