During his visit to Moscow, Amirabdollahian is scheduled to have a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov where they will reportedly discuss the latest international developments, including those going on in Syria, Afghanistan, the Caucasus, and the Caspian Sea region.
The two foreign ministers will also review economic issues between the two countries and the implementation of a strategically important International North-South Transit Corridor (INSTC).
They are also said to hold talks around the revival of a 2015 multilateral deal over Iran’s nuclear program and the subsequent removal of sanctions on Iran.
