The Emirati foreign minister made the remarks in his Tuesday night phone talk with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian.
The two sides exchanged views on the latest regional developments and issues of mutual interest.
Amirabdollahian congratulated the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan and asked his UAE counterpart to convey the Iranian president's warm regards to the UAE head of state, reiterating, "Fortunately, the two countries' relations in the political, economic, and commercial fields are growing and the recent constructive dialogues between the security and economic officials of the two countries, too, paved the path for their further development."
The Iranian foreign minister also announced Iran's readiness for hosting the joint meeting of the two countries' merchants and businessmen.
He, meanwhile, reiterated that the recent agreement between Iran and Saudi Arabia was in line with strengthening regional cooperation and proximity among regional countries, expressing satisfaction over the strengthened relations between the UAE and Syria.
The top Iranian diplomat at the end said that the expanded and broadened consultations between Tehran and Abu Dhabi is of great importance in broadening the constructive bilateral ties.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, too, in the phone talk congratulated the Nowruz Eid and its coincidence with the Ramadan month to the Iranian government and nation.
The UAE foreign and international cooperation minister, meanwhile, evaluated the development in Iran-Saudi Arabia relations positive for the region and to the benefit of the regional countries.
He also expressed hope that the Damascus-Abu Dhabi relations will be in line with strengthening the regional stability and security, as well as serving the interests of the Islamic countries and upgrading it to the satisfactory level.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the end invited Amirabdollahian to visit the UAE at his earliest convenient opportunity.
