Mohammad Wissam El-Mortada, who is visiting Iran to take part in the first Memorial for Martyrs of Resistance Media, inspected the Iran Press news agency and al-Alam TV network in Tehran on Tuesday.
In an interview with the Iran Press news agency, the Lebanese minister said that the news agency can compete with international news outlets, noting that its live broadcast is one of the advantages that is a rare capability in other news agencies and hoped that they could utilize programs of Iran Press to globalize resistance-oriented media.
The minister along with his entourages inspected the Al-Alam News Network and held talks with Director of the international media Saeed Ghaffari.
Ghaffari evaluated the visit as positive, noting that the deep understanding of the Lebanese minister on the situation of resistance-oriented media opens a proper outlook for future joint objectives in order to improve the status of the resistance movement.
Al-Mortada also described the media operation in Iran, including IRIB News Agency, Al-Alam News Network, and Iran Press News Agency, as very positive, adding that holding the Memorial for Martyrs of Resistance Media shows the success of the Iranian media outlets in introducing the voice of resistance movement to the world people.
According to the Lebanese official, the world is unaware of the lifestyle of the martyrs of the resistance-oriented media martyrs, and even certain media try to demonize the martyrs, but they sacrificed themselves to defend their religion and national identity in the face of foreigners’ propaganda campaigns.
